Bank of Khartoum has outlined the features of iBOK, its browser-based online banking platform for individual customers in Sudan. The service allows account holders to access banking information and carry out selected transactions without visiting a branch.
Balances, statements and transfers
According to the bank’s official website, customers can check account balances, view and download statements and make transfers between their own accounts or to other Bank of Khartoum accounts. The platform also provides options for managing beneficiaries and updating account profiles.
Access linked to Bankak registration
Customers already registered with the Bankak mobile banking application can use their existing customer identification information to access iBOK. The bank presents the service as a convenient way to manage transactions using a larger computer or tablet display.
Security procedures emphasized
Bank of Khartoum says logins and transaction approvals use one-time passwords as an additional security measure. It also warns customers against fraudulent links and urges them to use only official bank addresses. Digital channels remain important in a country where conflict has disrupted physical access to some financial services.
